January 21, 2011, University gained the status of a teaching university for a period of 5 years. By 2012, the university was implementing three educational programs: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, the Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, and the Master's Degree Program in Health Management.

European University includes several buildings for different colleges, and construction on the new Faculty of Medicine building began in 2017. This structure housed medical supplies in several teaching rooms and laboratories.
