Trent University

Trent University is ranked among the top 3.4% of institutions worldwide. Furthermore, it is Ontario's top undergraduate institution. As a result, enrolling at this institution is neither too simple nor too tough. Trent University has a 33% acceptance rate.

Trent University educates around 7,000 foreign students from 79 different countries. There are over 10 organizations and groups for foreign students from Africa, China, and Latin America, among other places. The Trent Overseas Staff is a specialized team that supports and serves international students. This staff helps international students with schoolwork, finding a place to live, getting money, getting health insurance, adjusting to a new culture, immigrating, and many other things. Each year, it offers courses and advice to overseas students who choose to study at Trent. It also helps exchange students and existing Trent students who want to study abroad.

Trent University has students from all around the world enrolled in various programs. According to Trent University student numbers for 2019–20, there were a total of 11,079 students. There were 8,753 undergraduate students and 653 graduate students on the Peterborough Campus. There were 1,632 undergraduate students and 41 graduate students on the Durham Campus. There were 383 indigenous students, 999 foreign students, and 132 ESL students among them.

Students from other countries who are attending Trent full-time can work on campus without a work permit. On-campus job possibilities are available in buildings owned, leased, or rented by the institution. Depending on your skills and interests, you might be able to find a job in a library, college, sports complex, food catering company, liaison office, or alumni office.
