The major requirements from the NMC guidelines are as follows: a minimum of 54 months' duration, English as the medium of instruction, studying mandatory subjects, a validated medical degree, a 12-month clinical internship, and clearing India’s medical licensing exam.
The NMC Gazette is an officially published document that contains guidelines for all Indian students who want to study MBBS abroad. For the unversed, the National Medical Commission oversees medical conduct for academic and professional purposes across India.
The minimum duration of the MBBS course at any foreign university must be at least 54 months (4.5 years), followed by mandatory clinical rotations for 12 months.
English should be the primary language of instruction at the chosen MBBS university in Georgia, as mentioned in the guidelines of the NMC Gazette.
