  • Trustee Scholarships - Boston University - Trustee Scholarships are given to international students who want to take an undergraduate program at Boston University. Students are permitted to work a maximum of 20 hours per week. With an F-1 visa, you can work on campus, but you can't work off campus until after the first year of school. During breaks, you may work up to 40 hours per week.

Full-Time Work Opportunities

Some students with a bachelor's or master's degree can apply for an extension of their Optional Practical Training (OPT) and stay in the United States for another year.
