  • Yale Scholarship ( All Undergraduate Programs) - This award is only available to Bachelor's Degree candidates. This grant is available to all first-year college students, no matter where they are from or if they are citizens or immigrants. It is renewable for up to four years.

  • Trustee Scholarships - Boston University - Trustee Scholarships are given to international students who want to take an undergraduate program at Boston University. Students who have done well in school and have made a big difference in their school and community can apply for trustee scholarships. The scholarships cover the whole cost of tuition and other mandatory expenditures. The institute awards twenty scholarships to meritorious candidates each year. The award is renewable for up to four years if certain conditions are met. For the trustee scholarships, applicants must send in an essay along with a common or coalition application. 

  • “Mork Family Scholarship - UG Computers & Engineering Programs” - The Mork Family Scholars Program was started in 2011 when Julie and John Mork, big USC fans and big donors, gave $110 million to USC for undergraduate scholarships. With this gift, the university's most valuable asset—its diverse, smart, and growing student body—will be supported for a long time.

Part-time Work Opportunities

Students are permitted to work a maximum of 20 hours per week. With an F-1 visa, you can work on campus, but you can't work off campus until after the first year of school. During breaks, you may work up to 40 hours per week.

Full-Time Work Opportunities

Some students with a bachelor's or master's degree can apply for an extension of their Optional Practical Training (OPT) and stay in the United States for another year. The STEM OPT extension provides students studying STEM courses with an extra 17 months (for a total of 29 months). With a J-1 or M-1 visa, students have 30 days to apply for a work visa.
