Overview

The University of West of England (abbreviated UWE Bristol) is a public research university in Bristol, England, in South West Britain. UWE Bristol is one of four universities in the UK. The UWE also has a history that started in the year 1595 with the formation of the Merchant Venturers Navigation School. The university is guided by its motto "Light, Liberty, Learning,”.
