Overview

Overview

The University of East Sarajevo, Foca, was founded in 1992 with the goal of producing quality medical professionals capable of dealing with the medical industry's complex treatment issues. Doctors who attended university and gained knowledge and clinical skills have helped to improve the healthcare system in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as in neighboring European countries. This donation is the institute's greatest honor and pride.

To make the General Medicine course (MBBS) acceptable for international students, we introduced the study program in English and adopted English as the main instruction language, making it suitable for all students worldwide.

The institution offers a 6-year medical program that is equivalent to MBBS and covers all of the disciplines taught in India's government and private medical schools. The university campus houses faculty in medicine, dentistry, and nursing, as well as a scientific research center for biomedical science called "The Specialist Dentistry Centre," which was founded in 2016.
