On the IULM University campus, there is a study center with the most up-to-date technology for teaching. IULM's financing has continuously increased over the years, including the granting of scholarships, research grants, and doctorate awards, as well as the recruitment and training of new academics. Instruction is done via lectures, classroom activities, case studies, constant evaluation, internships in Italy and abroad, and international student exchanges. The main ingredient is research, which serves as a beginning point for the creation of educational possibilities but also as a point of arrival for the graduates who carry it out and the organizations that will profit from it in the near future. Research is an important part of IULM University, as shown by the many projects that have been finished or are still going on in fields like corporate communication, politics, anthropology, and fashion. A living laboratory that constantly generates new resources: not just for the university but also for society as a whole, for institutions, and for enterprises.
The IULM library comprises over 240.000 classified books, over 1.300 periodicals, and over 56.000 films, documentaries, and language courses. For bibliographic research, picking up books to take home, and returning those borrowed, there are reading rooms, a consultation room, an equipped multimedia room, and a book distribution space. There are 240 beds at Università IULM, which are spread out over two university homes. Fourteen of these beds are set aside for international students in the Erasmus and exchange programs. The IULM University’s residence has 20 square meters of double rooms with private bathrooms, 2 single beds, 2 closets, 2 desks, a shelf, and a satellite TV. Students are given sheets and blankets when they arrive. There is a TV room, a computer room with Internet access, and a coin-operated laundry in the residents' common rooms. The Admissions Support Desk may also be able to help you find other housing options through partnerships with other universities.
You can join any of the student sports projects run by CUS Milan as well as the extracurricular cultural events that IULM University supports to help young people develop their leadership skills on a global scale (University Sports Center). IULM University talks a lot about how sports can teach people and how important they are for their personal and professional growth.
