Fleming College, also known as Sir Sandford Fleming College, is an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology located in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The university has more than 6,800 full-time students and 10,000 part-time students. The school is named after Scottish-born engineer and inventor Sandford Fleming, perhaps best known for his contributions to the concept of universal standard time and for being knighted by Queen Victoria. It is a public college of applied arts and technology. It serves more than 6,800 full-time and 10,000 part-time students across 3 Fleming College campuses. The university offers more than 100 programs in areas of study such as business, arts and heritage, natural and environmental sciences, health and fitness, skilled trades and technologies, and more. Fleming is set to expand its medical and community service school to focus more on healthcare. The program will start in January 2023 with a shortened period of 2 years.

Student accommodation/housing/on-campus accommodation/hostels are provided by college with key amenities such as wifi, restaurants, etc. It has a world-class library with a large collection of student learning facilities. College students spend an average of $143 CAD per week on food. International students can study more than 130 degree, diploma, or certificate programs at our four university campuses. Students applying for admission benefit from some international financial aid, but the amount is very minimal. Students can apply for an external scholarship to cover tuition and related expenses. The school's comprehensive educational facility has produced many successful professionals. The average student salary is 54,000 CAD per year. The school has transfer agreements with 19 universities that allow students to use the credits earned to pursue post-secondary education in the form of a degree.

International students who have completed their first semester with the required cumulative GPA may benefit from financial aid in the form of scholarships. Eligibility for this scholarship is based on first semester GPA. These scholarships are awarded based on the student's GPA rank in the first semester until the reserve funds for the given semester have been exhausted or all eligible students have been awarded.

It is becoming one of the favorite study destinations for international students. On the other hand, while it's relatively easy to get into Fleming, highly competitive programs like Practical Nursing or Legal Assistant have a large number of applications. Therefore, the competition is very tough for such programs. Therefore, the school advises students to apply as soon as possible to increase the chances of admission for students with appropriate qualifications and requirements.

In 2017, the school recorded the highest number of fall semester enrollments with more than 6,000 students admitted to the full-time program and 10,000 part-time students, including 600 international students. Every year, the university's international student union includes more than 1,000 students from various countries, including India, China and the United States.

It has four campuses in regional Ontario: Sutherland (main), Frost, Haliburton and Cobourg. The Sutherland campus features facilities such as the Fulford Bistro, the Kawartha Technology and Commerce Center, the Health Science Campus, sports and recreation centers, and student housing. Located near historic Lindsay in Kawartha Lakes City, Frost Campus is surrounded by the natural beauty of rivers, lakes, and greenery. It offers a student-friendly community and plenty of opportunities to explore Ontario in all four seasons. The Haliburton campus is located in the Haliburton Plateau, overlooking Lake Head. This campus is located near a thriving arts community and the school offers a one-of-a-kind, hands-on studio experience. Finally, the Cobourg Campus offers academic enhancement, a personal support worker program, language courses for newcomers to Canada (LINC), and a variety of continuing education courses.
