Overview
The Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) is a government-run higher education institution in New Zealand that was founded in 1975. Originally known as Hawkes Bay Community College, the name was changed to Hawkes Bay Polytechnic in 1987. The present name of the institution was given to it in 1996. It is recognized by New Zealand Ministry of Education and Tertiary Education Commission. Eastern Institute of Technologies (EIT) main campus is situated in a Napier City neighborhood in the Hawkes Bay area. It is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and architecture, making it an ideal learning environment for pupils. There are also two satellite campuses in Auckland and Gisborne.

The Hawke's Bay campus offers two cafés and one fine-dining restaurant, while the Tairawhiti campus has two food outlets. Counseling and Chaiplancy services are also available on campus. Students may connect to free Wi-Fi from anywhere on campus. Some of the public amenities on campus include the beauty and body treatment clinic, salon, massage clinic, and bookstore. Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) offers student accommodation in the Student Village, which is situated on the other side of the Hawke's Bay campus. In Auckland, the organisation provides housing in apartment complexes. Aside from that, Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) runs a number of learning centres across the city where educational programmes are offered. The campus has well-kept buildings, paths, parking lots, and recreational and green spaces. Smart classrooms, lecture halls, high-tech labs, and practical rooms are among the great academic facilities and services provided by the university to assist successful learning and teaching.

At the moment, more than 10,222 students from over 40 countries are pursuing degrees at Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT). They are taught by 340 full-time faculty members who are highly qualified and talented affiliates.

The Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) offers about 130 undergraduate and graduate programs in a wide range of fields. Agriculture, grape farming, winemaking, computers, art and design, business, fashion, hospitality, music, health sciences, nursing, social sciences, and creative studies are all available. The university also offers short courses, certificate programs, and diploma programs in many different areas.
