Honours Bachelor’s Degree: Honours Bachelor’s degree in Ireland is 4 years, but for the degree in medicine, degree in veterinary science and architecture programs are for 5-6 years.

Master’s Degree: The master's degree in Ireland is mostly 1 year except for certain programs that may extend to 16-24 months.

Doctoral Degree: It is a research-level program offered in various disciplines. The duration is mostly 3 years of research work followed by a dissertation.

For a Master’s Degree, you need a Bachelor's degree or diploma, a 2.1 honors degree, a Minimum score of 60%, LOR, LOA, and SOP.

For a doctoral degree, you need a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree, a minimum of 60% in all levels, LOR, LOA, and SOP.

Bank of Ireland UG Scholarship: - This scholarship is applicable for the most promising UG international students, either in Science or in Humanities, to follow a fully funded part-time honors degree course. A stipend is given of approximately 27731 Euro, deadline is August every year.

  • Scholarship for Ontario College Graduate - Ontario College students can study honors degree programs in Ireland. Graduates of 2 years college programs in Ontario securing an honors degree can pursue 2 further years of study in Ireland. The scholarship covers up to 7144 euros. The deadline is May every year.
  • The Walsh Scholarships - The Walsh Fellowships are awarded to brilliant international graduates seeking research opportunities in agricultural & food research. 30 new students every year are awarded this fellowship of 22,000 Euros. The deadline for the scholarship is September every year.
  • UCD Global Scholarships - University College Dublin offers scholarships for international students in any discipline of UG and PG courses. Scholarship amount offered 3233 Euro per year under different schemes.
  • NUI Galway International Students Scholarships - Non-EU meritorious students can get this scholarship if enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs. Scheme-specific awards amounting from 2068- 5358 Euro for UG and PG students
