Indian students who want to become doctors have been getting more and more interested in studying MBBS abroad for a long time. Indian students have often chosen Russia as one of the best places to study MBBS abroad. About 8,000 students went to Russia to continue their education in their chosen fields. The bulk of these students are pursuing medical education overseas.
Still, because the "distant-place nation" is so appealing, both students and their parents have a lot of wrong ideas about studying MBBS in Russia. Because of these misunderstandings about MBBS in Russia, many students don't get the chance to follow their dreams.
Definitely not. Russia is well-known for being an inexpensive European vacation. This is likewise true of its schooling. Russian medical universities are well-known for their affordability. Since the government pays for a lot of the tuition, the price of an MBBS admission in Russia has gone down a lot.
Also, living in Russia isn't too expensive compared to other European countries. Having said that, the quality of life is good and comparable to European living standards. Students often get discounts on public transportation, restaurants, and other places when they are students. Because of this, in reality, Russia is a good choice not only for tuition but also for living costs.
The preceding assertion is somewhat correct. Since Russia is not an English-speaking nation, it is not surprising that most colleges and other educational institutions teach in Russian. Still, the number of international students who want to study MBBS in Russia has grown, so some institutions have started an international medical program in which English is used to teach and communicate in the classroom.
As a result, many colleges in Russia that offer MBBS to international students teach the whole program in English. Aside from that, foreign students are required to learn the basics of Russian in their first year so that they can talk to their Russian friends and people who live there better in their later years. So, English is the language of instruction at the best government medical colleges in Russia.
Russia has about 50 universities that provide medical education. These medical colleges are well-known and respected all throughout the globe. The top government medical schools in Russia are recognized by the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS), Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), Former Medical Council of India (MCI), now called the National Medical Commission (NMC), and the Medical Councils of many other countries, such as Canada, Australia, and others.
With this designation, the student can take the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) or National Exit Test (NExT), the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), and other medical licensing tests. After passing the test for a medical license, students can look for work as doctors wherever they want.
So, it is not wrong to say that a medical degree from an MBBS admission in Russia is valid not only in India but also in other countries. If you're still interested in more information, then keep visiting our site. In the next blog, we will go into more depth.
