Pham Ngoc Thach University was established based on the Ho Chi Minh City Medical Staff Training Centre, based on the Prime Minister's Resolution No. 24/QD-TTg dated January 7, 2008. government. The school is a public higher education institution in the national education system of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and is under the direct control of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. It is under the professional guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Health. It is a health sciences university with functions such as education, training of medical personnel, international cooperation in education and research, scientific exchange, training, and transfer of medical personnel.
