Can Tho has a tropical savanna climate with warm temperatures all over the year and high humidity. There are 2 main seasons: the dry season (from December to April), when it is bright sunshine to visit the places, and the wet season(from May to November), with warm but heavy afternoon rain showers.
Summer
December to April The summer in Can Tho is usually during the dry season, lasting from December to April, but the temperature is the hottest between March and April. The season has higher temperatures, mostly clear skies, and lower humidity. Take some boat trips on the river, buy goods in floating markets and enjoy the typical dishes of Can Tho in the summer. Remember to drink more water and dress in light clothes, and wear hats.
Winter
December to February Can Tho does not actually have a winter season. However, there is a slightly colder season running from December to February. During this time, temperatures will be slightly lower, at about 24° C - 28° C. Nevertheless, it is still warm and dry.
