This year, approximately 23 lakh students registered for NEET UG 2025. Out of them, 20.8 lakh students have appeared for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination) Exam on May 4th, 2025, in 556 cities, competing against 1,27,881 medical seats for MBBS.

The availability of 1,27,881 - number of MBBS seats includes all government, private, deemed, and 10,000 increased medical seats after the Union Budget 2025.

Every year, NTA changes its Tie-Breaking Policies for students as per the difficulty level of the exam and preferences. Here is the list of NEET 2025 tie-breaking for students.
