Why Was the NEET 2026 Re-Exam Held?
The NEET UG 2026 exam originally conducted on 3 May 2026 was cancelled following a paper-leak controversy. To ensure fairness, the NTA held a fresh re-examination on 21 June 2026 with new paper codes — 50, 60, 70 and 80.
