There have been several roadblocks to having the NEET result 2025, since there were reports that several candidates have come across the power outage issues at their individual exam centers. The NEET-UG examination was conducted by NTA on 04 May, 2025, in the broad daylight of 2PM, which lasted till 5PM. There were multiple exam centers all over the nation, and about 23 lakhs students showed up for the examination this year (a drop of 8% from the NEET 2024 on a 25 lakh count for registered candidates.)
Candidates in Indore and Madhya Pradesh filed petitions over the power outages and rainfall in their individual exam centres and stated that the exam should be rescheduled. The NEET result 2025 was held off for a while, but the final decision by both courts was as follows:
Finalisation for the NEET result 2025 date and time by NTA (National Testing Agency) is announced. The date is June 14, 2025, and the expected time for the results is between 11 AM and 2 PM. The mentioned time range is not an official time slot announced by the National Testing Agency, but students should be ready with their details to check the NEET result 2025, including application number, date of birth, and security PIN, once the clock hits 11 AM.
We will look back at the NEET in 2024 to reflect on the situation of NEET for medical aspirants. In 2024, the total marks for the NEET-UG examination were 720, out of which 50% of the percentile was considered to be qualifying for the general category of students, while 40% was for the reserved category of students (SC/ST/OBC), 45% for physically handicapped students in the general category, and 40% for physically handicapped students from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC). The NEET result will be declared very soon in the coming days, and it will be a big moment for many medical aspirants and candidates who registered for the entrance examination. The NEET result 2025 holds a very special place for Indian students who hope to get a seat in a prestigious medical university in order to pursue their higher education in the medical field and make a better future. About 20-24 lakh students on average register for the NEET-UG every year, and among those, about 8-13 lakh students on average qualify for the entrance exam.
