National Medical College

The official language of teaching at National Medical College is English. The purpose of this is to help students and teachers better communicate with one another. To better interact with patients and the local population, the curriculum also mandates that all students study Nepali.

Located in the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu, the National Medical College is a part of Tribhuvan University. It has the approval of the Nepal Medical Council. It's for this same reason that this particular medical research facility might be considered reliable on a global scale. Other Forms of Accreditation and Recognition: Nepal Health Professional Council, Nepal Nursing Council. The college is also mentioned in WHO Geneva Switzerland's World Dictionary of Medical Schools.

They provide supplementary FMGE exam preparation. To practise medicine in India, National Medical College graduates must pass the FMGE. All undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty members, nursing, and other technical employees of National Medical College have well-furnished residential accommodations. The college has dormitory facilities for both male and female students, each of which may choose between single and shared rooms. Each of the 500 rooms in the boys' dorm has its own kitchen and other amenities. The ladies' dormitory contains 400 shared bedrooms and has the same features as the boys'. Every graduate student is provided with their own apartment to live in while at school. Furniture, food, leisure, and all other areas of comfort have been prioritised in student hostels. Outdoor/indoor sports, a Gymnasium, and an Aerobic exercise hall contribute to the students' development of physical and mental health. It's a university for many different fields of study, complete with a hospital, security, a bank, and a police station.

The library is a distinct, broad, and spectacular double-story facility in the heart of the college campus. It has been considered as one of Nepal's top libraries. This library has a sitting capacity of 250 readers at one time (separate reading area for faculty members, postgraduate / undergraduate students) and is well-ventilated and illuminated ergonomically. It has an exceptional collection of books (Text / Reference books), print and electronic journals, magazines, both national and international, WHO publications, research reports / theses, CD's, Slides. Members may borrow books under the home issue method in accordance with the library's rules and regulations. Strict adherence to the library's code of behaviour must be demanded for all categories of readers.
