The MBBS course at Central Asian International Medical University is designed in such a way that international students can get global exposure. The University follows NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines, so Indian medical students see the similarities in course structure. The course duration is six years. It is a five-year academic and one-year mandatory clinical rotation. In the sixth year, students get a clinical internship or rotation in a University-affiliated hospital or clinical setting to get hands-on clinical training.

In the first third years, the course focuses on fundamental theoretical subjects, such as Anatomy, Physiology, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, and other subjects that are relevant to medicine. During the final two academic years, along with clinical training, the course concentrates on clinical, practical, and evidence-based learning in hospitals. The curriculum is curated in such a way that integrates the basic sciences with clinical practice to prepare medical students for their careers.
