Apart from getting ample opportunities, high standard education and infrastructure and international exposure, to name a few, there are some added benefits of finding work there as well as building a career in the best way possible.

As you plan your higher studies in Canada after 12th or Bachelor, the normal question comes to mind is - If you choose a degree or diploma. Diploma vs Degree in Canada

Diploma in Canada - A diploma program, be it Arts, Commerce or Science or any other domain, mostly a PG diploma, which is of 1 to 2 year program. Diploma programs also allow students to choose their specialization in their respective domains, whether they want to pursue in future or they are already in Whether you want to study a diploma program in any Canadian University, you have to obtain a certain grade that may vary from one University to another. Some diploma programs combined with industry projects, where students need to work on that. The fees for diploma programs are lesser than degree programs for sure. It can make around 30,000 to 60,000 CAD.

Degree Program in Canada - Degree programs in Canada come with a duration of 3-4 years, depending upon the province and if the degree program is general or comes with a specialization option. There are normally 3 types of degree programs offered by Canadian Universities.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s Degree
  • Doctoral Degree

If you want to pursue a bachelor’s program, you need to complete your 12th standard exam or secondary schooling. If you want to purse a Master’s program which will take around 2 years, and you need to complete your Bachelors Degree with proper specialization.

Which One is Better?

For both a diploma or degree program, either master or bachelor, there are many options in Canada. It is totally up to you, if you want to purse after 12th or after your bachelor program. Furthermore, opportunities are there, after completing bachelor degree, master degree or a master diploma. Students choose as per their future career, duration and course fees. You will get humongous opportunism after successfully completing your diploma or degree program.
