Paddington is the inner-city area where UNSW Art; Design is located. The main UNSW campus in Kensington is divided into two sections: the upper and lower campuses, which were endowed to the university in three separate lots. The height gap between the quadrangle and the Scientia building divides the two campuses.
Kensington is home to the University of New South Wales' main campus. The Paddington campus of the UNSW School of Art & Design is located among Sydney's biggest concentration of cultural and creative sector enterprises and organizations. The Sydney CBD campus is in the famous 1 O'Connell Street skyscraper, which is in the financial district of Sydney. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings and the Academic Ranking of World Universities both rank the University of New South Wales as one of the best colleges in the world. The university has kept these rankings for nearly ten years with very little change.
