University of Lincoln

It is home to a growing community of students from around the world. Since Queen Elizabeth II opened Lincoln University's first  building on the Brayford Pool campus, the university has welcomed more than 90,000 students from  135 countries. Today, the university is among the top 130 in the world in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2022. It puts students at the centre of everything they do and is renowned for its innovative teaching methods, having achieved a five-star  overall rating in the QS Stars  and Gold rankings, the highest possible standard, in the National Framework for Teaching Excellence.

Regardless of the subject chosen, it is committed to ensuring that students have access to the latest equipment and resources to support their learning. Located on the shores of the stunning Brayford Pool, the university campus offers a modern, student-centered community with almost everything a student needs, either on campus or within walking distance. University buildings combine modern and innovative learning spaces with social spaces for teamwork and collaboration. This philosophy has been reflected in the latest National Teaching Excellence Framework, in which the College was praised for its "exceptional physical and digital resources that permeate every aspect of the student experience, including advanced education".

It is renowned for the quality of its education and offers a wide variety of courses in a portfolio of 363 undergraduate  and 352 graduate programmes. Some of the best courses are Health Professionals, Public Administration and Human Services Programmes, Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Service-Related Fire and Protection, Science, Biology, and Biomedicine; Business, Management, Marketing, and Social Sciences; Communication, Journalism, Psychology, Information, and Computer Science; and English Language. Student Union, an independent organisation run by leaders elected  on behalf of Lincoln students, the College aspires to offer a range of events, activities, and amenities designed to help students  settle down and make the most of their time there.  

Students can get involved in sports and society, develop their skills through volunteering and other employment opportunities, and have access to a variety of other services, such as the Student Union Counselling Centre. One of the many reasons students love Lincoln is because they feel  at home.
