Technological University Dublin

The University of Technology Dublin is Ireland first technology university, founded on January 1, 2019, and has a history dating back to 1887 via the combined Dublin Institute of Technology, which evolved from the City of Dublin Technical Schools, Ireland oldest technical education institution. The Technological University Dublin was founded by the merger of three previous institutes of technology in the Dublin region - Dublin Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, and Institute of Technology, Tallaght - and took over all of their roles and activities. It is Ireland eighth university and the county fourth. With a student population of 28,500, it is Ireland second-largest third-level college.

The Technological University Dublin emphasizes an entrepreneurial spirit and an industry-focused strategy, with considerable research and teaching partnership with industry. The flagship campus is in Grange Gorman, Dublin, and there are two more long-term campuses in Tallaght and Blanchardstown, as well as two legacy locations on Bolton Street and Aungier Street. Although we extend a warm welcome to our foreign students, the Irish government is dedicated to preserving the health and safety of all those who live, work, or study in Ireland. During the worldwide Covid-19 epidemic, the precautions used were uniform and successful. Living with a host family, residing in a student accommodation centre, or renting private property via TU Dublin StudentPad are all alternatives for students at the Technological University Dublin. 

The yearly cost of living might reach EUR 12,000 in certain cases. Almost 70 student-run organisations and 40 student clubs are housed on the five campuses, including Gaelic Athletic Association, football, Handball, powerlifting, archery, rowing, skiing, basketball, kite surfing, and cricket. Students may apply for financial help via a variety of scholarships, including the Government of Ireland Scholarships and the Centenary Scholarships for International Students. Technical University Dublin is now spending over €500 million in new, cutting-edge, technology-enabled facilities to improve the experience of our students.
