Ryazan State Medical University

Ryazan State Medical University has 56 departments, 16 academic buildings, a base dental clinic, a central laboratory for scientific research, a consulting diagnostic polyclinic, a vivarium, a botanic garden with an experimental area, a sports and health camp, four cosy hostels for international students, a mini-football field, two basketball courts, a tennis court and other facilities. The university has a large library with a wide selection of foreign-language works of science and education.

Working is permitted while enrolled in any full-time course at Ryazan State Medical University for international students travelling to Russia. The largest and oldest faculty of Ryazan State Medical University is the medical faculty. On September 1, 1950, 1096 students and 124 instructors began the first of the medical faculty's classes 1, 2, 3, and 4, which were moved from Moscow to Ryazan as part of the medical institution. The first "Ryazan" graduation of physicians took place in June 1953; 204 young professionals obtained diplomas and guarded the public's health throughout the enormous nation, from Belgorod to Vladivostok. More than 17,000 clinicians have received training in the Ryazan department over the years.
