Located in Poznań, the Poznan University of Medical Sciences is a public university. It was founded in 1919, with its medical faculty starting in 1920. With the introduction of an English-taught medical programme in 1993, it became one of the most prolific higher education institutions for all international students. Accredited by the Polish Ministry of Health and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS), it is an NMC-recognised institution, making it a preferable option for studying an MBBS in Poland. Poznan University of Medical Sciences features a 6-year “Medicine” programme for international students, taught entirely in English. This MD degree programme (equivalent to an MBBS) introduces students to the practical application of concepts right from the first year, with two years entirely to clinical rotations. With a variety of facilities available on campus, students receive a comprehensive MBBS abroad experience. This includes a dormitory, a library, study rooms, fitness facilities, healthcare support, and other facilities.
