For more than 65 years, Grodno State Medical University (GrSMU) has been recognised as one of Belarus's premier medical institutions, delivering high-quality education and producing skilled healthcare professionals for the global medical community. Established in 1958 in the historic city of Grodno, the university has developed into a leading centre for medical education, scientific research, and clinical training, welcoming students from 30+ countries every year. GrSMU comprises 6 faculties, 45+ academic departments, modern simulation centres, research laboratories, and affiliated teaching hospitals that provide extensive hands-on clinical experience. The 6-year MBBS programme integrates foundational medical sciences with practical hospital training, enabling students to develop strong clinical competencies. Recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), World Health Organisation (WHO), WDOMS, ECFMG, and FAIMER, the university offers an internationally accepted medical degree that opens pathways to medical practice, postgraduate education, and global healthcare careers.
