Undoubtedly, the success of the Grodno region, which has been regarded as one of the greatest in the nation for a number of years, is greatly influenced by the work of clinicians. New techniques for screening, treatment, and rehabilitation have been implemented thanks to university scientists. Therefore, the University's personnel has been awarded 158 patents for inventions and utility models over the last five years, along with 125 favourable rulings and 3 certificates for trademarks. N.I. Batvinkov and G.A. Obuchov, two professors at our university, received the honorific title Honorary Doctor of Belarus . The Professor Advisory Centre was established in 2011 with the goal of raising the standard of the population's medical care.

Over 16,000 doctors and nurses have received training at Grodno State Medical University in Belarus since it opened. The Grodno State Medical University's International Affairs Department is a separate structural division that answers directly to the rector and vice-rector for research. The University's charter, the collective bargaining agreement, directives and letters from the Ministries of Education and Health on international activities, as well as the rector's orders and regulations, serve as the department's primary sources of guidance. The rector's order approves, reorganises, and terminates the structure and employees of the international affairs department while taking into account the challenges the university faces. The head of the department is in charge and is chosen and fired by the university's rector. The head of the department assigns duties to each employee in accordance with their job descriptions and the rules governing the Department of International Affairs.

The university's main building is next to four student residences. 1840 students can be accommodated there. Two of the structures are of the flat kind, meaning that they have a kitchen and a bathroom that are attached to one another. The hostels have central air conditioning and heating. Hostels for students come completely furnished. One room is typically shared by two or three students. Boys and females have their own distinct spaces. Foreign students can make their home cuisine in the dining hall. There are also international TV networks available. The maintenance staff ensures that all of the students residing in the hostel abide by the rules and regulations strictly on a daily basis.

The university places a high priority on student athletes. The Department of Physical Training and Sport oversees its administration. All of the university's sporting events are coordinated by the Medic sports club. The university features top-notch athletic facilities, including a running track, two big gyms, and a wrestling practice area. The main sports are arm wrestling, powerlifting, kettlebell lifting, volleyball, basketball, football, mini-football, athletics, draughts, chess, swimming, and athletics. The University's athletic teams compete in a variety of regional and national sporting events and consistently post impressive outcomes.
