Scroll HereOn February 7th, 2025, the NTA (National Testing Agency) issued a Public Notice regarding the most awaited news for medical aspirants i.e., the NEET Exam Date. The NTA has opened the NEET-UG 2025 registrations from 7th February 2025. The closing date for NEET 2025 is 7th March 2025.
The NEET Exam 2025 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) would be conducted on May 4th, 2025.
Detailed Representation of Public Notice by NTA for NEET Exam 2025

According to the Public Notice, the NTA is inviting students for NEET 2025 registration (online) who are willing to pursue a medical course in India.
As always, students seeking admission to the undergraduate medical course in India are required to apply for the NEET Exam. These courses include.
- MBBS: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery
- BAMS: Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery
- BUMS: Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery
- BSMS: Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery
- BDS: Bachelor of Dental Surgery
- BVSc & AH: Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry
The NEET 2025 performance also enables students to get shortlisted while applying for the B.Sc. Nursing and MNS (Military Nursing Service).

NEET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Students who desire to study medical courses in India are required to appear and qualify for the NEET Exam. But, they must be eligible to register for the exam.
The NEET 2025 eligibility criteria must be kept in mind while applying for the exam.
- The student's age must not be less than 17 years. However, there is no upper age limitation.
- The student must be qualified at their intermediate level from the Science stream with primary subjects PCB i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- The requirement of 10+2 percentage in PCB is different for different categories.
- General - 50%
- SC/ST/OBCs - 40%
- Physically Handicapped (General) - 45%
- Only 12th-class qualified students are eligible for the NEET Exam.
- Students appearing for the XII class in 2025 can also apply for the NEET exam.
Students who are eligible to register for NEET Exam as per the rules, must follow the official link to proceed with the Application Form.
NEET UG 2025 Registration Process
Students who want to register for the NEET Exam 2025 are required to fill up the application forms. Students are also required to assemble the documents required for NEET exam form filling. These documents are:
- Recent Passport Sized Photographs
- 10th Marksheet
- 12th Marksheet
- ID Proof Signature
- Left and Right-Hand thumb impression
- Certificates for EWS, PwD, etc (if applicable)
You must possess the scanned images of all these documents. Later, you can follow the application process.
- Students are required to visit the official website of NTA - http://neet.nta.nic.in/
- Students are required to fill up the general, but accurate information matching with the 10+2 mark sheets.
- Students must fill up the Codes between 2 to 7 carefully, and if they are appearing for 12th in 2025, they must choose 01 code.
- Later, students are required to provide all the documents discussed below with a particular size, and personalization.
- To complete this registration for NEET 2025, students must fill up the form at the end of the process.
