Astrakhan State Medical University Admission Process
Getting admitted to Astrakhan State Medical University (ASMU) in Russia has certain admission requirements and the multi-step process involved in the application and visa process. To take admission at Astrakhan State Medical University, the following steps are to be taken.

Astrakhan has a cold semi-arid and markedly continental climate. The city has great temperature differences, like bitter cold, mostly dry winters and a long, very hot and sunnier summer. The city of Astrakhan is one of the driest cities in Europe, having little precipitation throughout the year.
Summer
June to August The summer in Astrakhan occurs between June and August. It is dry, hot, and very sunny. Typically, the temperatures range between 25°C and 35°C but can get as high as 40°C on a really warm day. July is the hottest month and has the longest day of all, with desert-like conditions on a cloudless day. We can explore the Volga River, the Astrakhan Kremlin, and take walks along the river; we can eat local food and visit museums and cafes. In this region, it is better to have activities outside in the morning or evening so as to avoid the midday heat.
Winter
December to February The winter lasts in Astrakhan from around December to the end of February. It's cold, dry and windy here in winter, with temperatures varying between around -5°C and -15°C (sometimes less), and there is generally not a huge amount of snow, but the days are shorter. Feel the joy of the frozen Volga, winter parties and decorated streets, and warm up in a cafe with hot food, tea or coffee. On cold days, there will be both tranquil and cosy settings with food.
