Macquarie University

Macquarie University was founded in 1964 and was named after Lachlan Macquarie, an early ruler of New South Wales. On March 6, 1967, the Macquarie University opened its doors to students, with more pupils than expected. The foundation of the Macquarie University was a step towards altering Australia's prevailing conventional education system. Macquarie University is divided into two campuses. Macquarie University's main campus is situated in Macquarie Park, 15 kilometers from Sydney's Central Business District (CBD). Macquarie University's main campus is known as Wallumattagal Campus. There is another one at Macquarie University City Campus. Macquarie University's campus spans 162 hectares and includes all important amenities like as pubs, restaurants, medical facilities, daycare centers, private hospitals, and many more. Macquarie Institution is Australia's only university with its own metro station.
